Contactum integrates with Google’s reCAPTCHA to safeguard your website from spam and automated attacks. It leverages machine learning to confirm that visitors are real humans.
This Article will guide you how to configure reCAPTCHA on your WordPress site with Contactum.
Configuring reCAPTCHA Integration #
To set up the reCAPTCHA integration, follow the steps below
First, navigate to Settings from the Contactum menu, open the Security tab on the left sidebar, and click on reCAPTCHA. You’ll see two options:
- Version 2 (Visible reCAPTCHA): Users check a box to confirm they are not a robot; the system verifies the request with a challenge.
- Version 3 (Invisible reCAPTCHA): Runs in the background and scores user interactions to detect bots; the system verifies the request based on the score.
Choose the reCAPTCHA version you want to use, then enter the corresponding Site Key and Secret Key. For demonstration, Version 3 is used in this guide.
